TRUNK SHOW!!!!!!

So I went to this adorable shop yesterday to show the owner my work. I will be having a trunk show there during an open house at the end of March! I'm so excited! One big bummer, I can't afford any more supplies till I get paid the first week of March. Which means I'll have to pay extra for expedited shipping so I can bulk up the inventory before the show. My next pay check will be going to the mortgage. God I love being house poor. I'll update with more details when I get the chance!

  1. Maybe the way to go is to take orders?? That way you can make the pieces people want instead of spending $$ on making inventory?? And if you're paid up front for the order, there is the $$ for supplies. Just a thought - great news on the show! best of luck with it! :-)

  2. That's a great idea for for other markets. I'll keep it in mind. As far as a trunk show, I need merchandise for people to buy up front. Hopefully I'll be able to pull it together in time. Thanks for the idea!

  3. Ahhhhh I didn't know it needed to buy up front at the show. You'll sell alot - it is all beautiful! I'm eyeing the small horseshoe necklace with the purple pendant...my MIL Bday is coming up and she likes purple.

  4. Thanks for the encouragement! I'm really excited. The purple stone is Amethyst. Let me know if you want it. I'll make you a deal. I have one that's similar listed on my etsy for $41.00. But I'll happily sell this one to for 1/2 of that. My MIL loves purple too. So much that she thought it was my favorite color for a bit. It only took her a few years to figure out that I never wore it, or had it in my house. Then the purple gifts stopped. Don't get me wrong, purple’s lovely. Just not my #1.

  6. Sweet! Thanks. I’m not sure what easiest way to do this is. You can mail me a check or I can upload it as a reserved listing for you. Let me know what works for you!

  7. What do you prefer? A check is fine by me, or if you want it to be a 'sale' in your shop, you can post a reserved listing, but then you pay the fee...I'll give you her address so you can directly send? That would be awesome! My email is hicksinlb@gmail.com. I will send you her address and you can tell me the amount for the check and your address if you decide to go that way. :-D
