No Job

So I was informed by the big guy that it didn't seem as though negotiations were going well, and he was pretty certain that I didn't have a job. There were a lot of apologies and I'm getting paid for the two weeks that I've been out of work with a possibility of getting paid an additional two weeks. (I'm not holding my breath) Here's hoping I find something before the house gets foreclosed on and we have to live with my mom and dad. I'm really pretty devastated. Working with Maria and Jacquie, was like working with my best friends. that's a rare thing to have. I never dreaded going to work because I knew it was going to be fun. I guess I'll be mourning that for awhile.

  2. Thanks Sylvia. No matter what we'll be ok. I know that. I just really don't want to lose the house. Hopefully things won't get that bad, but you never know. I'm applying for everything in the area. Even the jobs I don't want.

  4. oh shoot...I was hoping it would be better news, like maybe a deal to open the gallery part-time...I'm REALLY sorry to hear about it.

  5. Thanks Bonnie and Olive. I just wish I wern't so freakin' scared! I'm prepping for my show this Saturday, applying online for almost anything, and later today I'll be blanketing the city with my resume. I just hate the constant feeling of nausea. I probably shouldn't let my self get so anxious, but we live hand to mouth around here. One lost paycheck is too many.
